Law Enforcement

The Village contracts with the Rock Island County Sheriff’s Department for policing services. The Village contracts to have an officer on duty within the Village limits for 16 hours a day, 7 days a week. The County will provide coverage on the other shift as they have always done. The Village is a designated sub-station for the Sheriff’s Department, ensuring a presence of officers available for calls at all hours of the day.
